I got all the materials for the hull, and most of the boat hardware as well.  I am ready to build a boat!

updated blog today.  I got the stem built and ready to layout the shelves tomorrow!
I am going to make them 10 inches wide so there is plenty of room to sit and walk on!

That'll work fine... I like wide sheer decks personally.  You'll appreciate it when things are rock-n-roll and you have to go forward for anchor duty.

Yesterday I finished glassing / sheathing the entire hull.  This morning I am going to scrape / cut off the excess fiberglass and start fairing the bottom so I can paint it.

I am going to try to paint it on Saturday or Sunday possibly.  I am going to use a single stage, two part urethane enamel automotive fleet paint.  I have never sprayed this before, so I am going to have a buddy of mine come over who used to paint cars and give me a lesson.

I will take some pictures of the sheathed hull today and post later.

No lew, that is a livewell for bait with 4 rod holders and two cup holders built in.  In a pinch, it would make a good toilet though!
